SOLD Spendor SP1 Loudspeakers Cherry
These speakers are a piece of loudspeaker history, designed by Spencer Hughes, one of the main contributors to famous BBC speakers such as the LS3/5A. The SP1’s have a very rewarding midrange, similar to the sound of the Graham and Harbeth loudspeakers that came later. Fun fact: Derek Hughes, son of Spencer and Dorthy Hughes (Spen+Dor) still designs speakers! You could look at Derek’s design of the Graham LS8/1 and maybe see some similarities to the Spendor SP1.
